Rock Painting Event at Sunrise Mall to Benefit Local Mental Health Organization

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - Local community group, Orangevale Rocks, will be hosting a rock-painting event inside the Sunrise Mall on March 21st from 11 am - 2 pm in front of the Macy's Women's Store.  

This event is a FUNdraiser & awareness building event for NAMIWalks Northern California, benefiting NAMI Sacramento (the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness).

The event is free, with donations to NAMI encouraged. In addition to rock painting, attendees can also learn more about how to get involved with NAMIWalks Northern California - the organization's largest event of the year.  Representatives from NAMI will be on hand to provide information about the FREE services offered throughout Sacramento County for individuals & families impacted by mental illness.

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Sacramento provides essential education, advocacy and support group programs for people in our community living with mental illness and their loved ones.
