CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - The Stockton Police Department said in a statement released that a suspect was arrested in Citrus Heights in connection with the shooting of a 9-year-old girl in Stockton in early April. David Price (39) was identified as the suspect who was responsible for a drive-by shooting on Van Gough Lane. The arrest came after several shootings and gun-related incidents occurred in Stockton with other 9-year-old kids in the last month.

According to the department, the arrest took place on April 20 and included the participation of the U.S. Marshals Task Force. It took several hours for authorities to remove Price from the Summerfield Place Apartments near Sunrise Boulevard in Citrus Heights. Additionally, five handguns were seized at the scene.
